Izhaan's POV
.

Well done Izhaan! So much for "I will not convince her, come what may". I heaved a defeated sigh and pressed the doorbell of Abdullah uncle's house.

Just two days without her, and all of my ego jumped out of the window

The door was answered by a maid. She greeted me with a big smile.

"Where is Reem?" I asked

"In her room" she replied, I went straight to her room, the door was already opened wide, so I just entered and closed it making sure to not make any sound. She was sitting on a chair, her back was at my side, she couldn't see me.

She was working on Microsoft Excel. I just stood there quietly and read what she was preparing! Her laptop was glitching, she was growing irritated and pressing random keys

"Aahhh why is it not working?" She groaned

"This will work" I bent down and fixed the issue.

"Izhaan?" She said and sat straight. She put her laptop on the table and stood up

"What are you doing here?" She asked

"I should be asking you, What are "you" doing here?"

" What do you mean? This is my house"

"No, it isn't. Your house is where I am." I said, she rolled her eyes

"I'm seriously in no mood for your crap, so please go from here" she said in anger

"I'm sorry" I said, she looked at me. "Athar didn't tell me the entire thing, I had no idea about the things he did at the restaurant."

"Still you were defending him?"

"His actions were too loud, I agree, but the reason behind them was just as big"

"You are taking his side again"

"No my love! I wish I could somehow make you understand."

"Why are you here? To make me angrier?" She asked, I heaved a sigh, I held her hand

"No! I'm here because I'm missing you" I said, "why are you punishing me for what Athar did? I need you to be around me, let's go back home" I said in a soft tone, she was looking at me with wide eyes

"Say something please" I said, she sighed and looked down

"I will not come with you, I will stay here, till what I told dadi" she said, I put my finger under her chin and lifted her face up

"And what about me? Don't you feel any pity for me? I want to be with you" I said in a whisper, I smiled when I noticed my impact on her

"By the way, what were you saying, you spent days thinking about me constantly, what did you think?" I asked, she gulped and bit her bottom lip, I wrapped my arm around her waist and pulled her closer, she looked so nervous

I ran my finger on her exposed arm, there were goosebumps instantly. She was breathing heavily while looking down.

"Look at me Reem" I said, she lowered her head even more

"Please" I said, she looked up in my eyes

"Tell me what do you think? Do you also feel what I feel? Do you also want, what I want?" I held her face and caressed her cheek with my thumb

I kept on staring at her face, she looked away

"You are so beautiful" I whispered

"Please no"
