Humanity won against demons,

but at what cost? Lives were lost, lands destroyed, children barely at the age of 14 killed, and Loved ones slaughtered.

Loved ones... Your loved one, killed right in front of your face, and you? There was nothing you could do.

Except hold her body, and listen to her cries 'I don't want to die' she said, and between you and her, a promise was made.

'Lets meet again in our next life'

She said, before she took her last breath, death finally overcoming her. You just sat there, the rain drops falling on you and her dead body, as if the sky was also mourning your loss.

She couldn't even hold you in her arms.

You stood there, as you watched her family cry, mourning for her, you hated every bit of it. Why? Why Did she have to die? She was everything, the light to anyone's darkness, mad yet she was taken away.

And you? You were a mere sinner, a sacrifice with no purpose in life, yet you lived. You lived.

She was very fond of her family, her heart must be wrenching seeing them cry so horribly. Yours was too. You felt bad, but the dead can never come back. That was reality.
