Keeping August

Originally Keeping August was intended to be the last book in the RMH series, but unfortunately, I've lost all inspiration to continue this particular story. Before the idea for the entire series came through, this was intended to be a stand-alone story that was a reflection of something personal I was going through and since then, I've moved on. You're often told to write what you know, which is why all of my stories are based in small-town Texas with mostly tight-knit siblings and nosy, know all people in the community -- but since I've long removed myself from the particular relationship that ignited the fire for this storyline I can no longer continue it. Maybe one day, further down the line I'll be able to fill in holes for this plot, but for now, I'm giving at least one Dixon sister a beginning to end mostly happily-ever-after. 

For August's story, she's happily married to her husband and is setting an example for her younger siblings. After many years of struggling with fertility and one tragic miscarriage that initially drove the pair to marry faster than intended, they conceive Sunday, their little miracle.
