In the town of Little Creek, there resides a meager population of 679 people. There are two elementary schools, one public high school, two gas stations, and one street corner cafe that's the only place in town where you can order something that's double-fried and loaded with salt. There are three churches, something the adults of the town praise as an invaluable highlight and something most of the younger population heave a sigh at. In short, everything is painfully underwhelming and average. At least, it WAS average until an angel came hurtling through the stained-glass window of Saint Thomas's Cathedral on a Saturday evening. How do I know it's not some wack story that half-crazed 83-year-old Mrs. Henshore imagined as she was rolling her rosary beads between her fingers during service? Because I was there, and I know that everything I saw is true. I always thought angel visits to earth were supposed to be considered miracles; a sign of good will from the big man himself. I never thought it would unleash hell on earth.
