Amara Lucas has always despised Finn Winters. He stands for everything she hates, and, as a resolute feminist, she is determined not to succumb to the flirtations of any man. So when he suddenly starts being nice to her, she struggles to work out his motive. At first she refuses to accept that he has put an end to the feud, but as time wears on his new behavior continues. Perhaps he will finally be able to prove to her that she can indeed be a feminist in love. Or perhaps that job is best left to someone else. Either way, all Amara really wants this year is to earn herself a placed at Oxford University. But, as the year progresses, that seems to be the least of her concerns.
