Hazel Collins is an average girl who has lived an average life as a straight A student. A girl who tries everything she can to make her stern parents happy but never succeeds. She has never been particularly interested in anything or rather anyone apart from her studies and compensating for her siblings' misbehaviour, let alone having a love life, however she's always had this one boy on her mind and in her heart, her former neighbour Zade Jackson. The Jacksons resided next door to the Collins. When Hazel and her siblings were children, they spent most of their time playing with Zade and his siblings. Hazel and Zade were, as she would put it, " the bestest friends of all time ". There was hardly a day when the two didn't argue over any dumb thing, yet the truth remained that they were each other's best friends. Unfortunately, both families had transferred to different residents. As time went Hazel and Zade 's friendship began to erode and eventually evaporated. After 7 years of transferring, they come across each other at one of their family functions and Hazel discovers how her feelings for Zade has developed into something much more. Tag along as their friendship transforms into something Hazel has always about.
