I bit my lip nervously as my eyes met with Aubrey's. She dated Enzo when they were 14. Cringey but that's the truth.

They soon broke up when she saw Enzo talking to me. More like 'flirting'. I never flirted back but Aubrey put all the blame on me. Honestly I don't care about her anymore.

She already made my life a living hell by spreading rumors about me. I thought I got rid of her but here she is again.

"Enzo told me to show you around. Follow me."

She spoke with an attitude. Enzo? I thought William?

I followed her anyway.

After the mini tour I realised I had 10 more minutes before the meeting starts. I knocked on Mr William's door.

"Yeah."

"The meeting-"

"We are going to an Italian restaurant for the meeting."

He cut me off. I was surprised at the sudden change of plan but shrugged.

"Alright."

"Let's go then."

I sat in his huge expensive looking car. Oh god, it was so clean and good-looking.

This man is so rich. I felt slightly uncomfortable sitting on the luxurious seat.

"Don't be so stiff."

"O-okay."

Shit, why did I stutter? I made myself comfortable in the car as we took off.

We reached the restaurant in a few minutes. As soon as we walked in Mr William talked to the receptionist about their already booked table.

My eyes widened in realization that I was supposed to book the table for us. I guess it slipped from my mind.

"Be careful Miss Miller."

He whispered in my ear giving me a small yet lowkey playful glare. I whispered a small apology.

I felt slightly embarrassed about it though.

I sat next to Mr William waiting for our guests.

"I am really sorry about it Mr William, I'll make sure i don't repeat such a mistake."
