"Mate, Hermione likes Parkinson, I'm telling you." Ron told his best friend, Harry Potter for the thousandth time.

"No, she likes you. I've seen the way she looks at you." Harry retorted.

"Fine, let's make a bet, yeah? If I win, then you have to do whatever I say for a day. If you win, vice versa." Ron purposed.

"Deal. You're on." Harry replied, thinking it was an easy win.

Ron knew he wasn't very smart or observant when it came to these type of things but he was sure Hermione liked Parkinson. Whenever the two get paired up in potions, Hermione blushes like crazy and whenever they interact, Hermione's eyes light up as if she cast a Lumos spell. Ron was sure of it.

"Hey Hermione," Harry called the woman who was sitting on the couch across the eighth year common room.

"Yes, Harry?"

"Do you like someone?" He questioned.
Hermione turned beet red.

"Matter of a fact, I do." Hermione said as she got real close to the guys. "So as you know, I'm bi but I really don't want who I like to change our friendship."

"Hermione a crush won't change our relationship with you. You're our best friend." Ron said honestly. "Besides where else would we get our homework answers?"

Hermione smacked his upside the head. " I have developed an attraction for... Pansy Parkinson." She concluded.

"Come on." Harry muttered but Hermione heard it, her face formed a frown and as she looked just about to ready to break down in tears, Harry began apologizing profusely. "I'm sorry, Hermione. I didn't mean like that, I just lost the bet with Ron."

"You guys bet on love life!" Hermione shrieked then took a deep breath. "Well, what is the bet, I want to be apart of if."

"Harry has to do anything I said tomorrow." Ron remarked, giddy. Harry grumbled about how unfair it is.

" Oh, this is going to be so much fun. Ron, I'll tell you my plan tomorrow. I have to go find Pansy." With that, Hermione almost sprinted out of the room, leaving the two boys confused.

"I'm dreading tomorrow." Harry said, grimly.

"Better you than me." Ron replied and shrugged, heading off to bed.
