𝗜𝗙 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗘 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗡𝗬𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗦𝗘 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡 𝗩𝗢𝗟𝗗𝗘𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗧, 𝗜𝗧 𝗪𝗔𝗦 Scarlet's Aunt and her deranged cousins from her father's side. If she could, she would drown those three in red wine or throw them off a tower, anything to see them die a painful death. This was not even an exaggeration. She hated them.
Her cousins were much older than her, her age had almost a decade difference from the youngest one. Aunt Amethyst is married to an Yaxley and she somehow still crawls for the Bridget name which is pathetic. When the family arrived at her house a week after Hogwarts ended, Scarlet wished something would murder her. Perhaps an apocalypse would wipe out all humans. Perhaps Voldemort would discover she is a lying, treacherous filth and kill her.
Anything to ease her off this torment. Anything to get away.
"Celeste, it has been so long!" Amethyst entered with a sick smile, and Scarlet almost threw up. "And you, Scarlet, you were this little when I last saw you, darling." She gestured down to her knee. Obviously, she was little. She was fucking five years old.
Celeste nudged Scarlet, and the girl's brow shot up, "I am so glad to have you over. Come sit, Aunt Amethyst, we have been longing for your arrival."
"Lolite and Jade, I have heard so much of all your work," Celeste politely smiled. "Very impressive."
"It is very good to see you again, Aunt Celeste," Jade politely bowed her head a little.
When they moved to the dining room, Celeste grabbed Scarlet's elbow and gestured to the seat at the head of the table. "Sit here," whispered the woman. Her father's seat. Hesitantly, she sat down at the very end. Around the two corners were Celeste and Amethyst.
Lolite was the oldest, and she was a Healer residing in Scotland. Merlin saves all those poor witches and wizards who have to be treated by her. Jade, who has been studying magical plants, had sharper features and was generally quieter than her sister and mother.
Jaggy served the food and they all ate in silence. Even Jaggy sent a glare or two in the Yaxleys' directions, not very fond of them.
After a few moments passed, Amethyst spoke to Celeste, "You have caused quite the uproar within the Ministry, Celeste."
