BRIDGET HOUSE
DECEMBER, 1978

"𝗜 𝗙𝗨𝗖𝗞𝗜𝗡' 𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗖𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗬 𝗦𝗜𝗠𝗢𝗡!" Sirius shouted loudly, standing on the table with You're So Vain by Carly Simon playing in the back. He was drunk off his mind in the leather jacket his girlfriend got him and no-shirt underneath attire, and sweaty hair on display as he danced to the music.

The constellations drawn in little rhinestones on his back glinting vividly — realistically, it was Scarlet's idea to glue those stones onto the leather jacket he wears almost every day. Ophiuchus, Canis Major, Carina, Andromeda. Scarlet also stuck on Orion's belt and Sirius picked out Bellatrix from it out of spite.

"You're just gonna casually say that in front of Scarlet," Dorcas pointed out disappointedly. Dorcas recently came up with a very exciting news and told everybody that she too is joining the Order. Everest and Scarlet were thrilled to have another Slytherin to be part of them, not to mention they were the original girls trio back in Hogwarts. It felt... peaceful to get a glimpse of their old selves.

The living room was large enough to comfortably fit Dorcas, Marlene, Everest, James, Remus, Lily and Peter. Alice was on her honeymoon with Frank and received a lot of glares for turning down the offer of celebrating New Years together.

The group has spent the entirety of the last three days helping Scarlet and Sirius move into their new house. Lily helped organise most of it given her fabulous taste. Marlene and Sirius working together resulted in the best party of the century. The house was still quite empty given not a lot of furniture was around, and it left the teens plenty of space to do whatever they wanted. Cards, marker pens, balloons, whistles, drinks and glitter were all over the floor.
