A/N: I'm honestly loosing interest in BNHA but I'm doing my best to continue this book... I love it but my god is it tiring to write 😭
On a different note, I only need to finish up revising the next three chapters of my JJK various x Fischl!reader book! So... there's that! Each chapter is around 3-4 thousand, the shortest being around 1,400-ish words, and the longest being 5,700-ish!
I'm so sorry the amount of words is so low compared to the other chapters!! This was totally rushed and I might not get the chance to update it later tonight so I had to post it this morning!! Once again, super sorry! I'll try to make the next chapter longer (hopefully close to 2,000 to make up for all the short chapters lately)!! 🙏🙏

"It's been about ten minutes since the shaking. Since there haven't been any aftershocks, we can probably assume this isn't an earthquake but that part of the underground mall is collapsing." Todoroki explains with a thoughtful look down at his phone.
"Todoroki, I'm grateful. If you hadn't created a sheet of ice over my head, then I would be buried under debris right now." Tokoyami ducks his head shortly, showing his appreciation.
"What?" Y/n blinks awake, looking around confused for a moment before slowly nodding. "Oh, yeah... good job, I guess."
"It's only natural to save your friends, right? But it'll be difficult without any light." Todoroki acknowledges.
"Yeah." Tokoyami confirms as he shifts his gaze up towards the ceiling. "It'll be hard to control Dark Shadow in this darkness. If Dark Shadow goes out of control..."
"...then there will be even more collapsing." Todoroki finishes.
"Ugh. Like it wasn't bad enough the first time... when can we regroup with Izuku?" Y/n mutters bitterly.
"I could let Dark Shadow out if you continuously made flames, though." Tokoyami suggests, completely ignoring Y/n's quiet complaints.
"Let's not do that." Todoroki rejects immediately. "If I make flames in a place buried by debris, then it could use up all our oxygen, and we could get carbon monoxide poisoning."
"Terrific. What a charming way to die." Y/n deadpans, although mentally stores that idea for later.
It'd be far from the worse death she's had.
"I won't use my flames unless it's absolutely necessary." Todoroki frowns as he looks down at his hand.
"What a buzzkill." Y/n murmurs, yawning once again.
"We cannot assume training like this." Tokoyami points out, "If we wait here, I'm sure the teachers will come get us."
"You're right. That's probably true." Todoroki admits, Y/n lightening up slightly by the words.
"Does that mean I can finally go to slee—"
"But there's also the possibility that this collapse was part of the training." Shoto cuts her off, resulting in Y/n visibly deflating.
"Escape from a secondary disaster, huh?" Todoroki mumbles, eyebrows pulled together in concern. "Either way, I'm worried about our classmates."
"Someone might've been injured in the collapse earlier. We need to make sure everyone's okay." Todoroki says, pushing himself to his feet.
"You're right. I completely agree with everything you said." Tokoyami agrees with a vehement nod.
"That's sounds sarcastic, but whatever I guess." Y/n yawns, stumbling to her feet. "I guess I'm in."
