Lucy is sat at her desk filling out paperwork as her shift was coming to an end she decided that she would finish it all because there was no point in doing it tommorr Tim came over and leant on her desk
" hey babe I'm going out with a few old friends tonight but when you finish feel free to come along we will be at joes bar " Tim said a big smile on his face kucy smiled back
" yeah I'm not sure though I'm really tired but I will definitely think about it " they both laughed and Tim kissed Lucy

Tim walked away and went out to the bar Lucy continued filling out her paperwork around fifteen minutes later an excited Angela and nyla run over to Lucy
" LUCY COME QUICK WE NEED YOU IN GREYS OFFICE " Angela squealed Lucy stood up
" what's going on "
" come on we need you in greys office " nyla grabbed Lucy's hand and rushed her into greys office
" tell her the good news " nyla said excitement taking over her body
Grey stood up
" congratulations detective Chen you are now ranked number one best detective in the country after closing over 200 cases in your first six months on the job Lucy's face brightened and smiled she cried happy tears and hugged grey catching him a bit off guard
" thank you sir " she pulled away and smiled Angela and nyla pulled her into a group hug
" OMG YOU HAVE TO TELL TIM " Angela said extremely high pitched
" OK LET ME GO GET MY BAG FRIM MY LOCKER THEN WE CAN " Lucy smiled she went into the locker room grabbing her bag she got a call from an unknown number out of area she answered

" detective Chen this is captain Johnson New York pd I would like to congratulate you on your most recent ranking "
Lucy smiled
" thank you ma'am how can I help you today"
" well we have a case that no one can solve I have had over fifteen different detective in and no one can figure it out and I was hoping you would give it a shot New York PD will pay for a private jet to come get you and your sleeping arrangements it will be for around 3 weeks" the captain said cheerful
" ma'am I thank you for the offer but if it's okay I need to speak it over with my family and work colleagues and then u shall get you an answer" Lucy replied just as cheerful
" great I shall be expecting your call thank you detective Chen"

With that the captain ended the call and before she could be happy Angela came into the locker room
" WILL YOU HURRY UP YOUR BEING SLOW" Angela whined
The call from the captain got lost in Lucy's mind and she grabbed her bag the three women got in the car and drove to joes bar.
