Panicked, Michael desperately looks for a way out of the pit before the mother Scor returns. His injury makes his plan seem hopeless, leaving him ready to accept his coming death. Desperate, he prays to the forest spirits for help, but their silence makes him feel even more hopeless.
Just as despair threatens to consume him, a voice calls out his name. He cries out in response, only to be met with silence. Again and again, the voice echoes, giving him hope before disappearing into nothingness, leaving Michael to question his sanity.
Yet, with each call, a glimmer of hope persists. On the fourth summons, he listens in silence, ready to follow any guidance. The voice instructs him to look up, though the darkness reveals nothing. Undeterred, Michael pleads for clarity, encouraging the voice to urge him to believe before he can see.
Summoning his faith, Michael's vision clears to reveal a figure of a woman, resembling Gemma, standing with her back towards him.

"Gemma?" Michael asked, but the figure remained silent. Michael reached out towards her for understanding. The figure spoke of impending trials and the assurance of a predetermined destiny. Despite Michael's protests of imminent danger, the figure remained mysterious, repeating the puzzling phrase: "Michael, I need you to stay strong. Hard days are coming, and death will try to swallow you up. Yet it will not succeed due to the purpose spoken over you.''
Before Michael can grasp the meaning, the vision vanishes, replaced by the menacing growls of the mother Scor standing on top of the opening of the pit, with a fierce look ready to devour Michael into pieces.

Terrified, Michael quickly scanned his surroundings, searching for any means of defense against the mother Scor. Suddenly, his gaze moved towards a sharp stick lying nearby. With lightning reflexes, he seized it just as the Scor lunged towards him. Desperately he attempted to fend off the beast, with each swing forced the Scor to retreat momentarily, only to reposition herself for another attack.
Aware that he faced a battle for his life, Michael fought on despite the odds. With every close encounter, he attempted to wound the Scor with the stick, fending off her attempts to bite, knowing she waited for the perfect moment to deliver a fatal strike.
Refusing to lose sight of his adversary, Michael decided to seek help from the spirits of the forest or the mysterious voice that had guided him before. Suddenly, amidst the chaos, a voice urged him to strike, but before he could react, the Scor pounced with terrifying force, leaving him with mere seconds to respond. As he swung the stick towards the creature, he felt the impact of her attack, sending shockwaves through his body, causing him to black out.
When Michael regained consciousness, he found himself in a misty realm, face to face with a mysterious figure. She remained silent as he approached, only for two more to appear beside her. Together, they sat upon a separate rock, their backs turned towards him.

As they sang a haunting melody, Michael suddenly realized - it was the same song he and his village sang to the spirits of the forest. Were these three women the spirits themselves?
Overwhelmed by a sense of reverence, Michael bowed before them, seeking answers about his fate. It was then that the first woman who had appeared turned her back towards him, revealing herself to be Gemma. She explained that she had recently passed away, having been executed shortly after her capture. She further blamed Michael for her capture, citing his disbelief when she warned him about the approaching soldiers in a vision.
Michael's eyes welled with tears as he begged for her forgiveness. However, Gemma's expression turned chilling as she coldly stated that it was all his fault. She added that now, with Michael also deceased, justice had been served, revealing that the mother Scor had killed him.
