"What important reason?" Michael asked Gemma, to which she asked if she could join him at the table. Michael informed her that her seat was already reserved for her. However, before she could sit, Michael halted her, demanding answers about this place and her previous attempt on his life.
Gemma explained that they were in the realm between worlds, where every soul moved after death, awaiting the order of the one. When Michael asked further about this figure, Gemma evaded the question and instead asked if she could sit. Michael persisted, causing Gemma to walk away
However, Michael urged her to stay, taking a seat at her table because he didn't want her to leave, given his feelings for her.

Gemma tried to sit on his lap, upon which Michael cautiously waved his sword to show his mistrust. Yielding, Gemma settled in a seat next to him.
Seated, Michael pressed Gemma once more for an explanation regarding her previous actions and her lasting resentment toward him for her death. Gemma assured him that she had forgiven him and clarified that her intention was not to harm him but to aid him in overcoming his fear of death and embracing his new afterlife.
Furthermore, she informed Michael that his family would soon arrive to welcome him, but they needed some time alone for a special occasion.
Tears welled up in Michael's eyes at the thought of being reunited with his family. Finally, he could let go of the fear of a life without them, which had plagued him in the nights following the attack. Perhaps everything would be alright, he thought to himself.
Overwhelmed with emotion, Michael let his guard down, eagerly anticipating their reunion and his impending marriage to Gemma. Upon thinking this, Gemma sat on his lap and began to kiss him.
As they kissed, Michael enjoyed the moment, but his bliss was short-lived as he felt a sharp pain in his back.
Turning, he saw Gemma holding a knife, her words flowing with hatred. With another strike, she wounded him, revealing her true intentions and her sinister delight.
Struggling to grasp his sword, Michael watched helplessly as Gemma laughed sinisterly at him. Suddenly, she stopped and fled in fear when a figure approached, radiating authority and power.
Feeling an arm around him, Michael turned to see a girl dressed in a warrior's hood, clad in all white."
Her face shone like the sun. She also bore a resemblance to Gemma, so he asked her name. She replied, "I AM GEMMA! Go back and retrieve my warrior!"

With those resounding words echoing in his mind, Michael realized his journey was far from over. Suddenly, he snapped awake, finding himself back in the cave, screaming in agony from his injured body. Looking around, he saw the lifeless body of the mother Scor lying on top of him. Astonished, he realized he had survived the attack and defeated the creature.
However, his relief was short-lived as he noticed the heavy rain outside. The rain filled the pit rapidly, posing a threat to his survival, especially given his injured state.
Instinctively, he considered seeking help from the forest spirits but remembered the previous encounter, so he turned to Gemma for assistance. Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck a nearby tree, sending it crashing into the pit, miraculously sparing him.

Seizing the opportunity, Michael scrambled out of the pit. However, his escape was interrupted by the presence of the baby Scor, still alive.
Overwhelmed with compassion, Michael decided to spare the creature from the same fate he had narrowly escaped. gathering up the infant Scor, he ascended from the pit to safety.
Once out of the pit, Michael lay by its edge, relieved to have survived. However, his rest was brief as the voice from earlier commanded him to quickly journey to the great river dividing the three communities, warning he would die if he delayed.
Even though he was tired and exhausted, Michael obeyed the voice's authoritative command, starting the difficult journey with the baby!
