It first began with the Guardian Pod flying through the skies and crash landing within the Splatlands and didn't seem like much was around besides the Eiffel Tower being fallen to ruin. The Guardian pod had opened up as an Inkling had fallen out of it.

The Inkling stood up as they held their head to try and figure out where Y/N was looking behind to see that there was a USB. Y/N had many questions but was too distracted by where they were to say anything until they see another Inkling walk up to them.

Genger: "Hey there buddy, I saw something coming from the sky, You alright?"
Y/N: "Umm, yeah. Ahh, Where am I exactly?"
Genger: "Well, you're technically nowhere but it would seem that maybe you're lost so if you'd like I can take you back to Inkopolis"
Y/N: "Inkopolis? I don't know what that place is?"
Genger: "Really? But you're an Inkling. What inkling doesn't know about Inkopolis? But I guess since you came flying from the sky and don't know then maybe you've got amnesia. Oh well, Come on I'll show you the way. Oh, By the way, I'm Genger. I'm gonna guess your name is SMGV on the fact it says it on your hat"
