I groaned as I reached out to my alarm clock that was blaring. It's six in the morning on a Wednesday. I should still be asleep. Today is the first day of my senior year.

I am dreading it.

I know no one. Well besides Matt, Garrett, and Savannah. They probably won't be in my classes, and I'll just be the loner sitting in the back corner of the class.

I rolled over petting my new buddy, Boomer. He decided to sleep in my bed with me last night because he was scared of something out in the water last night.

I sighed, getting out of bed, I have to find something to wear. Do I wear shorts or a dress? I think a dress will be a little too nice for the first day of school when I know no one. It'll seem like I'm trying to impress someone.

I chose some cute faded jean shorts, a baby blue soft and sexy top from American Eagle, and my white high-top Converse.

I did my makeup and finished the rest of my daily morning routine. I sat back down on my bed and checked my phone, only six forty-five.

I looked out one of the windows that had a view straight to the beach. It looked so peaceful. No people out there running around; just some seagulls flying around looking for food.

I grabbed my book bag off the floor and walked downstairs. My stomach tightened as I realized that I was starting a new school today. I sat down on one of the bar stools and began to eat my breakfast. I wonder where the other two boys are.

About five minutes later the two boys came rushing down the stairs talking about something, but I couldn't hear their conversation.

I put my dishes in the sink, grabbed Boomer's leash, and took him for a little walk to stretch his legs before we all left.

I wonder if I'm allowed to leave campus for lunch because I have no clue who I will sit with today. I'd rather sit here instead of a bathroom stall.

"Hurry up." I groaned wanting to get to school even though I was dreading it.

"What's the rush sis? School doesn't start for another fifty minutes."

"Well, you see I have no clue where I am even going." I put on a fake smile.

"Oh yeah, Garrett can you show her around when we get to school? I would but I have to go meet Mr. Johnson before school."

He nodded and they both got up and put their dishes in the sink. Matt got the keys out of the bowl and swung them around his finger as he waited for Garrett to get his bag.

I put my ray bans on as we walked out the door to his blacked-out Jeep. I have a Jeep as well, but it's white, and it's still in Georgia.

We climbed into the car as we started our way to the school. It was about a ten-minute drive. I started out the window as we pulled into the school. I can't do this.

I bit my lip as I opened the car door and got out. I took one last look at my outfit before shrugging since there was nothing else I could do now. I was already here.

I started walking towards the entrance, Matt and Garrett were on each side of me, like bodyguards. It felt like a mean girl's moment because I felt as if hundreds of eyes were on me. "Matt, why is everyone staring?" I whisper.

"Oh yeah didn't you know? Were the cool guys." He responded.

I snorted. "Y'all are far from cool, I'm sorry." We all snickered as we walked into the building.

It felt like a normal high school, except for the fact it was thirty times bigger than my old school. Besides all of the eyes staring at me, everything was going good so far.
