"Jess, wake up!" A voice calls me and touches my arm. I flinch, turn away, and try to fall back asleep.

"No."

"Yes, come on!" He pulled the covers off, grabbed me, and scooped me up bridal style.

He brought me down the stairs and brought me into the kitchen. There was a breakfast sitting on the table for me and him.

"Garrett." I was awestruck. "You are too good for me."

"Now we all know that's a big lie," He came towards me and kissed my forehead. "Now eat up and get dressed!"

"Okay, Dad." I rolled my eyes.

He had made pancakes, eggs, and bacon, and set out some fresh fruit. We made small talk as we gobbled up breakfast.

He should be a chef. Then again, it is hard to screw up simple cooking skills like scrambling eggs. "I didn't know you could cook this well!"

"There's a lot of things you don't know about me, babe." He winked.

I rolled my eyes then put my dishes in the sink and went upstairs to get dressed. I walked into my closet, searching for what I would wear today. I'm feeling good so I may dress up a little today. I put on an olive-green dress with a gold necklace and my gold sandals. I straightened my hair and put on a little dab of makeup.

I walked down the stairs, grabbing my book bag on the way out. I heard a whistle as I came down walking towards the kitchen from Garrett. I laughed and did a twirl for him and walked towards him. "Oh, baby you look gorgeous!" He howled and smirked at me.

I kissed him on the cheek and said, "Let's go!" I turned around and he walked, grabbing my butt on the way out. I like these kinds of relationships. The best friend-boyfriend relationships.

We arrived at school and my stomach dropped. How was he going to act? Is he going to hold my hand? Oh god, I can't do this.

"Jess?"

I shook my head getting out of my thoughts. "Yeah?"

"Come on let's go." He flashed me a dashing smile. I love his smile. I smiled back at him and grabbed my book bag from the back seat.

We walked through the parking lot and got inside the building and he wrapped his arm around my neck loosely dangling.

I swallowed.

Did he already tell people? I'm not scared about dating him. It's the whole girls love him and will die if they found out I'm dating him thing.

I mean who doesn't want to date the football running back?

I would.

"I need to grab my physics book from my locker." He nodded and we walked towards my locker.

As we walked through the building, I could feel stares burning into the back of my head and passing byers mumbling, "Who is that girl?"

We made small talk to people as we passed by them in the hallway. Well, mostly just him, not us. The entire school knows who he is.

"Matt told me that he was driving back up to California and wouldn't make it back until tomorrow morning. It's me and you tonight, again." He winked.

"What shall we do tonight?"

"How about we go putt-putt? There's a place a few miles down the beach we can go to."

"That sounds fun! I suck at mini golf since I'm a lefty and they only have right-handed clubs but sure let's go!" I laughed.

We closed my locker door and headed to pottery. With his hand in mine. We walked into art class, and Alexis raised her eyebrows looking at our hands in confusion. I mean there wasn't much to tell, we were dating. It was as simple as that. We sat down and I pulled out one of my art pieces and started working on it.
