Kotoko and I just got back from her check-up for our baby. Kotoko is in her third trimester and is due in two and a half months
Noriko: hey how did the appointment go
Kotoko: Good
Noriko: Oh, I have mail for you guys
We opened the letter to see
Naoki: it's an invitation to our high school reunion next week
Kotoko: oooo, we should go
Naoki: No
Kotoko: and why not
Naoki: for one, you're pregnant and going to be giving birth soon
Kotoko: come on, it won't be that bad
Noriko: yeah, you should go and have a little fun
And before I knew it we were going to go to the stupid high school reunion
One week later
Kotoko: Noaki it's time to go
Naoki: okay
When we got there Kotoko almost immediately excused herself to go to her friends. While my old classmates started talking to me
Guy 1: hey Noaki haven't seen you in a while
Guy 2: yeah, I heard you were a doctor now
Naoki: yes I am
Guy 3: hey isn't that the girl who used to have a crush on you
He said pointing to Kotoko, and I didn't like how they were talking about my wife
Guy 2: I heard she's married now
Guy 1: and expecting it looks like
Guy 3: I feel sorry for her husband
Guy 1: I also heard she's a nurse too
Guy 2: no way, that idiot from class F
Guy 3: remind me not to go to that hospital
Guy 2: look out she's coming this way and with a cute girl
Naoki: actually she's an excellent nurse, and that girl is married to Ikezawa Kinnosuke
All guys: huh
Just then Kotoko came up to me with Chris
Kotoko: Noaki do you want something to eat or drink
Naoki: no I'm good, hey Chris
Chris: hello Noaki
Kotoko: ok
Guy 1: You two still talk to each other
Chris: Why wouldn't they?
Guy 3: isn't she married and pregnant
Kotoko: yes and...
Naoki: she's my wife
I say cutting her off
Naoki: and this is my baby
I say as I put my hand on her stomach
Guy 2: You two are married??
Kotoko: yes
Guy 3: and having a baby
Naoki: correct
Guy 1: When did that happen
Kotoko: Getting married or the pregnant thing?
All Guys: Both
Naoki: Well we got married the first year of college and the baby happened 6 and a 1/2 months ago
After I said that Kotoko and I walked away. We went of with our night. I will admit that I did have fun.
