Her plans hit a snag when Otto Octavius tries to acquire the valuable asset. Spider-Man is all that stands between the villain and his goals, fighting the madman to a standstill in the streets of Boston. Mary Jane's best friend, Gwen Stacy, finds herself in possession of the formula. She tries to keep it safe, but soon finds herself in the clutches of the evil Norman Osborn.
