In the northern royal kingdom of Arszden, nothing is as it seems. Standing at the tip of its Continent, closer to the Celestial Lights than any other people and said to have been blessed by the Higher Ones by such fact, the High Kingdom of Arszden has more secrets hidden below its perpetual coating of snow and ice than anyone alive can ever guess. Being one of the oldest of the Seven Kingdoms, time has made its history both fact and fairytale, and to this day, nobody knows which is more accurate, either fantasy or reality. Truth has become muddled with long-lost myths and legends that the elders still remember being told but whose children already don't believe. It is said that in such kingdom, whenever one closes his eyes to the roaring wind of the north, the sound of a clashing battle echoes in the distance. Still, despite being protected by divine creatures, the Melig warriors - which have for long been whispered to roam the lands protecting the people from the terrifying beasts of Helheim - the kingdom is now facing a threat which has proven to be more threatening than anything it's ever faced. But as another king sits on his throne destined to fall, others reach to claim a crown bejeweled with secrets that could mean the unveiling of a long-lost prophecy and a wyrd millennia before settled. And as false kings race to claim an inheritance that is neither theirs nor the king's firstborn, the wyrd wields its hand to place upon the one true heir's head the crown of the Lost King. And in the midst of such secrets lies a fate that claims that blood will soak the lands beneath the snow and ice, in the field of daisies. For all that is hidden at snowfall shall be uncovered at thaw... Thus, chaos will come. Lives will be lost. Bonds will be made. Vows will be broken. Foes will become friends. Loyalties will be tested. Fates will be set. And war will be waged. And the only remaining question is whether steel will be broken or a daisy will blossom.
