"It's eight o clock in the morning,now I'm entering your bed, had a few dreams about you, I can tell you what we did" me and sharife sung to eachother while in the car.
We get out the car and go into our house "you really gotta go?" He asked me looking at me "yes rife" I said walking over to him
"You know how much I love my family and they need me" I say while putting my hands on his face while he wraps his arms around me
"Well I need you too" he says making me laugh
The Next morning
I woke up to my alarm I set at 2:00am, I brush my teeth do all that and throw on my Nike track suit Y/n pov
I can tell rife doesn't want me to go but I can't just not be there for my family and they need me too we get in the car and just listen to the radio
We haven't said a peep to eachother next thing I know un- thinkable comes on and I just look at the dark sky from the window and take in the lyrics.
We arrive to the airport and I get out the car (end of POV) rife gets my bag out the car for me "come here" he says wrapping his hand around my waist pulling me in for a hug
"I don't want you to think I'm mad at you okay? I'm just gonna miss you" he says looking down "y/n you know I love you right" he says
"Yeah I know" I say pulling away from him I check in and get to my gate "flight 828 is boarding" we get up and walk over to the gate
We hug and say our goodbyes "bye rife" I say with my water eyes and pulling away from our hug "why you crying y/n you gone see me soon promise" he said
Wiping my tears and kissing me on my forehead. After that long flight I get off and see my cousins waiting for me
"Jayyyyyy" I say run towards him and smile "heyyy y/n" he says he takes me to my nanas house where everyone is at.
"Hey y'all" I saw walking in the the house I haven't seen my family in a long time and it's because we got into big fight and I left to be with sharife
"Long time no see cuz" my older cousin says "I know I missed you so much" I replied deep down I really missed them but I was also missing my man
Few hours go by and we're all eating dinner together "how's rife" jays say knowing some of my family members don't approve of him
"He's good draft day is in a few month so he's pretty exited" I say
2 weeks after our little family reunion I stay in California just to make sure my family was good and catch up with them. All of sudden my phone starts blowing up

Your POV As soon as that posted my family looked at me as if they were saying told you so, so I pack my things and left because I just wanted to cry, I'm saying to myself how did I not see the signs. I arrive at the airport
"Y/n" someone yells I'm at the airport right now waiting for my flight "melo?" I say while standing up me and melo use to date but there's no beef we're just friends now
"You leaving California?" He says "yeah I just wanna go home" I say looking at my shoes "oh yeah I heard what happen sorry" he said
"It's not your fault melo you didn't cheat" I said "stay for two more days I gotta game tomorrow you should come?" He says looking at me knowing I hate eye contact
"Ugh ion know melo" I says looking at me "come on yo mans ain't gone care" he said while grabbing my suitcase and standing up
"Okay now your pushing it" I say while laughing we leave the airport and go to his hotel ( it's a twin bed hotel)
Day of the game Melo POV
As I'm warming up I see y/n siting there smiling and waving at me I missed y/n so much and she always use to come to my games and it was nice having her there
"Aye bro yo ex here" pj said "I know bro I invited her" I said as he passed me the ball "I'm glad she came man" I said
I can see y/n looking at me so I go up to her to give the fans a lil something I jog over and give her hug and a kiss on check
The fans going crazy I know they missed us as a couple I've always been competing with sharife
