Wrong Number

beginning of summer (17)

*y/n's pov*

It was now the last period of school and there was only 2 minutes left

Everyone had already packed up there stuff and was ready to leave the classroom as soon as the bell rang

Louis was telling me about all his plans for the summer

I knew I probably wouldn't do much this summer because of mum's job but I could still watch TV, text the group chat, and maybe hang out with Chris so I was okay

What I'm not excited for is grade 9, sure I know a lot of the kids in my grade but I don't talk to them...I only talk to my little friend group

I was pulled from my thoughts with the bell ringing I said goodbye to Louis as all the kids rushed out

Once all the kids were out I walked over to miss. Hills desk and placed a little gift bag

"What's this for?" Shw asked looking at the bag

"Its just a thank you for this year and this is the last time you teach me so I wanted to say thanks and that you were my favourite teacher" I smiled

"Always so kind ms.l/n" she said smiling opening the bag

When she opened the bag there was a picture from one of put class field trips, a mug that said 'best teacher' with chocolates inside of it, and a thank you card

"Oh your so sweet come here" she said pulling me into a hug

"Now you have a good summer and be good for your teachers next year don't be getting into any trouble" she said pulling away

"I won't don't worry" I laughed

"Goodbye y/n" she smiled

"Goodbye miss.Hill"

With that I walked out of the classroom and out of the school

I couldn't wait to sleep in and swim and just over all relax and not worry about school

As I walked into the house I put my keys and backpack on the table and sat down on the couch resting my head back

As I closed my eyes I heard a knock I the door, I walked over to the the door looking through in peek hole to see Chris standing there with his hay and sunglasses I quickly opened the door so he could walk in

Chris has came over both days since the my graduation I think half the reason is to see me and make sure I'm okay and the other half is to see and talk to mum

They have gotten closer lately its good seeing mum happy ever since dad died shes never really tried the whole 'dating' or 'guy friend' thing I think because she thinks I'll be mad but all I want is for her to be happy

"Hey Chris" I said closing the door once he was inside

"Hey kiddo, how was the last day of school?" He said ruffling my hair up

I rolled my eyes fixing my hair

"It was okay I liked the last class we got to play games and stuff but it was sad to say goodbye" I say

"Yeah it always is but now your going to be in High school a grade 9 my god where does the time go"

"You've known me for like 3 weeks" I said with my hands on my hips

"But it feels like I've known you forever" he says

"Im happy you haven't known me forever because I was sooooo much weirder then I am now" I said with a digested face I cringed just thinking about it
