i split my life into two, like the slick seeds of pomegranate, cut it into a 'before', and an 'after'/ i sawed at the seams of my mouth, the shell of my ear, cursed at the oblivion that had taken root in the crevice of my throat, the hollow that burrowed deep in the stitches in my limbs, the blazing trail of a stranger's fingertips mapping the expanse of my skin. the vacancy of my vagabond flesh/ the taste of sluthood oiling the back of my teeth. the curve of my vagabond jaw, the fresh new eyes that showed me the taint spanning the foreign body that replaced my own
