"EDEN, I WOULD LIKE YOU TO DO SOMETHING FOR ME," Aro says as Eden enters the throne room with Carlisle beside her.

"Of course, Aro," Eden says with a nod. Eden's eyes go to Caius' stoic expression. She purses her lips and looks at Aro expectantly.

"There is a coven of six vampires terrorizing Rome. I would like you to take care of it." Aro tells her, and Eden forcefully smiles at him, curtsying. "Of course, I will get Jane and Alec."

"Alone," Aro tells her, and Eden tilts her head, looking at Aro, confused.

"I sent Alec and Jane to Florence. To handle some business," Aro continues, and Eden just nods, walking out of the throne room with Carlisle.

"Why would he send you alone?" Carlisle asks, walking beside Eden with his book in hand.

Eden shrugs, answering, "Testing my loyalties, it seems." Carlisle purses his lips. He knew what that meant.

"Would you like me to come with you? Surely six vampires are too much for you." Carlisle tells her. Eden halts, looking at Carlisle with a grin.

"You underestimate me, Carlisle, but you may. Your company is rather delightful." Eden says, walking towards her chambers to prepare herself while Carlisle waits in the empty corridors.

"Shall we?" Eden asks, wearing her black cloak and her 'V' necklace. Carlisle just nods, following Eden's lead.

They arrived in Rome. It was nighttime, the only time when Vampires were allowed to roam without exposing themselves to the humans.

Then they hear a loud scream or shriek filled with terror. Eden and Carlisle ran towards the voice, seeing a village in a bloodbath while the coven of vampires terrorized the village and killed the people by draining their blood.

It was a brutal and horrifying sight.

"By god," Carlisle mutters under his breath. It was inhumane.

"Get used to it, Carlisle. Not all vampires are like us." Eden says, walking forward, opening her palms, and releasing her purple vapors. As the smoke wraps around the six vampires, making them drop the dead bodies toward the ground.

They were fighting her ability, making her use all her strength. Eden then placed them in front of her. "It seems as though you attracted the Volturi's attention."

A vampire hisses out, "We are not afraid of the Volturi." Their bodies began shaking.

"You will now," Eden says, closing her. "I can see your darkest fears. I can make you live through it until you are begging for death.

They began to scream. Carlisle looks at Eden in horror and curiosity. He never fully understands and sees Eden's abilities to their full potential. But the sight before him, it wasn't the Eden that he knew off.

"Enough." They pleaded and begged until all the blood they consumed started to pour out of their mouths. They were choking, and their bodies began to jolt viciously.

Then Eden lifted her hands together, then all of their bodies began to burn, and screams of pain and agony erupted until it was none.

Silence.

The purple vapors went back to her palms. And Eden felt incredibly exhausted, her vision began to blacken, and her knees weakened.

She began to fall to the ground until Carlisle caught her.

"Eden!"
