Chapter:4:Visiting the Dead

[A/N: You know what? *Throws another fanfic at you* That's what...PLEASE READ IT, I EVEN HANDMADE THE COVER IN CANVA SINCE CALE AND MAMMON ARE MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS IN THEIR OWN FANDOMS T_T]

When Cale, Barrow, and the kids appeared, half of the theater was already filled with people waiting to start. Cyra descended next to Cale and escort him to his sit, which in turn earned glares from the nobles. Once Cale, Barrow and the kids arrived at their destination Cyra snapped her hands which made the other missing people appear on the theater.

"Now that everyone is here let's start!" Cyra shouted as she sat beside Cale and clapped her hands. The screen glowed white and soon we see a 9 year - old Cale beside a grave.

[On the screen]

"Happy Death Anniversary Mother..." Cale said with a small smile. He then placed a bouquet of flowers consisting of poppies, spider lilies, and marigolds. He then placed red and black candles in the grave and lit it up. He then proceeded to sit on a mat he laid earlier.

[IRL] 

"No wonder the young master Cale seemed sad" Rosalyn said as she watched the sad Cale on the screen. 

"It's fine Miss Rosalyn" Cale said with a soft smile. 'Those bastards are already dead anyways' Cale thought as he smiled softly at Rosalyn. Rosalyn fell for the act and felt sorry for the young master Cale. It was just not Rosalyn, everyone fell for the act and felt sorry for Cale.

[A/N: Acting Skills *sparkles*]

[On the screen]

Cale reached his hand in the basket he brought with him. Inside the bag are various desserts especially made by Cale. Cale took out a cookie jar filled with colorful cookies, he also took out two slices of strawberry cake from the basket.

"Look mother, I learned how to bake" Cale said with a soft smile. Cale placed one of the slices of cake in front of his mother's grave. He missed how his mom will bake him food and both of them will have a picnic in secret. He missed hanging out with his mother in her secret spider lily garden. He also missed how his mother will teach him various things in her secret villa.

[IRL]

"I never knew that Jour had a villa of her own?" Deruth mumbled loud enough for everyone to hear. After hearing this from Deruth, the other nobles can't help but wonder why would Jour keep something like this, especially if it holds her memory. The smart ones started thinking and theorizing why Jour would only tell Cale and not Deruth. Everyone were wondering when Cale raised his hand.

"If you need an answer, I could answer that...it's because by her family's tradition, the Thames family tradition, the only one allowed to know the location of the building are those with Thames blood" Cale answered. He doesn't care if anyone find it, they'll die if they do. Those red tigers of his are vicious after all.

This statement from Cale made everyone perk up except his children and Barrow. The nobles were soon filled with greed, wanting to take what possible items and information might be there. After all, the Thames Household was the most mysterious household there is in both continents. All they know is that they vanished like a bubble being popped.

"Though I would like to inform you that, their are guards and traps surrounding the area, yo might even get lost, thanks to the illusion magic surrounding it" Cale said. The nobles are now having second thoughts in finding the place, they don't wanna lose even one bit of power because it got massacred. 

The smart ones though can't help but find it strange. How could a supposedly vanished household still have guards. Who was checking and fixing the traps? Who was maintaining the illusion magic? They have questions but they have to figure it out themselves.

[On the screen]

"I still haven't found those bastards, but when I find them..." Cale started giggling and then the giggling turned to hysterical laughter. Cale soon grabbed a dagger from the basket and an apple. He then threw the apple in to the air.

"They won't see the next daylight" Cale said with a huge smile as he threw the dagger right in to the apple and pinning it to the tree behind it, madness visible in his eyes. 

[IRL]

Everyone stood in shock at the scene. They had never seen Cale act like that. Ron and Beacrox stared the the scene in front of them in shock. With that precision with a dagger, Cale can be considered an expert assassin. Ron achieved that precision when he was 16, the same goes to Beacrox, and they were considered a genius, but Cale in that scene was just 8. Cale was a prodigy in assassination. The other experts also agreed to this after seeing this.

The smart ones on the other hand also wondered who could Cale possibly be talking about. Cale was known as one of the kindest people in both continents. What could those so called "bastards" possibly have done to make such a kind person so angry at them. Cale only gets angry when people hurt his family, so the could've possibly done that, but to who? There was only one answer, his Mother.

[On the screen]

"Mother I swear, I will return the pain they caused you tenfold" Cale said hysterically with tears in his eyes as he kneeled in front of his mother's grave. He soon the sobbed harshly at her grave. He swore he would find them, even if it's the last thing he'll do. He knows what they looked like, he saw it, he saw his mother dying in front of him. Once he finds them, even he doesn't know what he'll do.

The people in the room especially the kind ones couldn't help but feel bad for Cale. The desperation in Cale's voice, the fact that he saw his own mother die in front of him, everything, made them feel pitiful for Cale. Cale's family couldn't help but feel worried for Cale, as they all turned to Cale, they saw him smiling softly at them.

"Don't worry I already found them" Cale said as he patted his children softly. Barrow who was beside him started braiding his hair. He was almost finished with Cale's hair and tied it all together with a black ribbon. It was his form of comforting Cale in his own way.

Cale's family, especially the ones who knew Venion's fate, couldn't help but feel sorry to those bastards, but when they remembered what they did, they discarded those feelings in the trash faster than the speed of life itself. The Dragon Half - Blood (DHB) stood up and went to Cale. He first bowed to Barrow and then sat next to Cale. Sheritt just smiled at this, she knows the truth.

Barrow didn't shove her red dragon's baby's heart to the boy. The boy was her baby in human form. She knew that Barrow didn't wanna kidnap her children as Barrow was innocent and was forced to do so by his elders. The other dragon slayers never believed at the so called curse that was surrounding the dragon lord. All they ever wanted was power and after voting Barrow who was against it, was forced to do so.

He told everything to the sealed dragon and as if on cue, the God of Death's voice echoed. The GoD told Barrow to take the egg, but he must take care of it. Barrow made a deal with the God which Barrow accepted. The Gods apparently, thought that humans have become far to greedy and tasked Barrow to free the God of Despair, the God sealed by humans due to fear. Barrow agreed and the GoD bestowed him the power of reincarnation.

It was just like the curse, but with no pain or drawbacks at all. Barrow then took the eggs to a safe place, in a cave he made to his base. After a few years he killed the rest of the dragon slayers, leaving him to be the last one. After 1000 years he meets an 18 year old Cale thanks to the God of Despair, but in their first turn they failed and so the God of Time interfered and regressed time back. Cale name the black dragon Raon Miru and the red dragon Ryu.

The screen however turned black signaling the end. The others stood up and went to their companions tables and started hanging out with them. The next scene will be played in 30 minutes..
