"Finally..I'm home." Saiki sighed as he arrived to his front door. It was another tiring day at school for him. You know, the usual. Nendo being Nendo, Kaido being cringe, Teruhashi trying to attain her goal in getting him to say "Oh, wow.."
He doubted that he'd get much, if any rest at all at his home because of his parents. Specifically, his dad.. but whatever. At least he was home now.
He opened the door and noticed his parents sitting in the living room through the door. They were all up on each other as usual. He could hear them crying happily to each other about something, but he didn't care enough to find out what it was.
He removed his shoes and tried to sneak his way past them, desperately not trying to get caught up in what they were crying about. However, it was unsuccessful as he heard his dad's voice call out to him.
"KUSUO!! WELCOME HOME, MY SON!" His dad shouted, still teary and holding Kurumi close to him. Had he not had his loving wife in his arms, he'd jump and give Saiki a most-likely unsuccessful bear hug. Saiki groaned.
'Great, he noticed me.' Sighing, he brought himself into the living room with his parents. 'What's happened with you two now? Why so emotional, more than usual?' He asked, telepathically of course.
"Your mom..your mother, she's.. AU-" Kuniharu couldn't even let out an entire sentence before wailing pathetically and burying his face into Kurumi's neck.
Saiki was beginning to get annoyed. 'Just hurry and get it out! I've got homework to do.' This was a lie. He just wanted nothing to do with whatever was happening and to get his much desired alone time.
"It's okay, Hon. I'll tell him." Kurumi, Saiki's mother, had pulled herself away from her husband and wiped at her teary eyes. She began, "Kusuo, we have some news for you."
Saiki's face softened at his mother's voice, but also at how stern she said that last sentence. He also got a little nervous. She started again, "Kusuo..."
"We're having a baby!"
"...what?"
