Tommy did not like the idea of healing students that he personally didn't know or didn't want to get to know. Especially those who would look at him with narrowed eyes, judgement written all over their faces as if he killed their mothers.
But on the other hand, he actually took a liking to Recovery Girl and upsetting her wasn't his main goal. He simply didn't want to make the older lade disappointed and of course, overwork herself while trying to heal every students that would come to her office and go. He knew she was strong, like any other pro hero yest she had her years and it was obvious she was slowly losing her strength.
So he decided to suck it up and push back down his pride. If that was the only thing she would ever ask him to do, he would try his best to help.
Of course that didn't mean he wouldn't complain all the time and maybe, just maybe irritate her a little to entertain himself.

It almost made his forget about the interaction they had before. When he told her about the label. But when he walked inside the office and she greeted him with a gentle smile and invitation inside, he thought it was alright. Because she didn't scold him for lashing out on her, she didn't judge him and mostly important, she didn't ask questions.

"Take a seat, dear. I'm glad you agreed to join me and help out a little, the kids are reckless these days." She said, shaking her head when a familiar freckled face appeared in her memory. "Especially that Midoriya kid, always breaking bones. Would think that by now he would get full control over his quirk. It brings him more bad than good"

Tommy only nodded, leaning against the wall on the bed.

"Is not that bad. I had a friend who would always come back home bruised ans there was not a single day when he wouldn't have a scratch or a scar lingering on his skin. Made me worry for him, stupid Tubbo.." the last part was a whisper so even Recovery Girl managed to hear him, she chose to ignore it.

"All Might is like that too. Old and a pro hero yet sometimes I feel like I'm dealing with a child and not an adult." She huffed, pulling out a small bandage and placing it on another shelf.

Tommy snickered, quickly looking away when she glared at him.

"What's so funny?" She asked, hands on her hips as she looked at him with a scolding look.

"Nothing, I swear!" He said, raising hands in the air, trying to fight off the smile that was threatening to slip.

She looked at him in wonder before turning around, looking through aby shelves and cabinets she could.
Tommy sat back and watched but after a moment, his eyes fell back to his hands. He looked at them for a moment, all his attention on them. He lost himself for a moment, his guard down with the distraction. Only when Recovery Girl placed something on the desk did he shake his head, mind clearing up. He looked at her, then back at his hands before fiddling with his fingers.

"Recovery Girl?" He asked.

She didn't turn her whole attention to him but nodded to singla that she was listening. Tommy stared at her for a moment, thoughts flashing through his head for a hot second. Would it be weird? Was he too much? Was he annoying?
He almost stopped himself, bitting at his tongue. If he already distracted her, it would be better if he just spilled it. There was no point in hiding anything. She would ask him anyways, now or later.

"Do you think I would be better as a healer than hero?" He asked, hands clenching in a fist.

Silence was all he heard. He didn't say anything, she didn't say anything and so the silence filled the room. He didn't dare to look anywhere else than on his hands that were more interesting than anything else in the entire room. He could feel his wings twitching and ears turning red from the embarrassment. He was about to take back what he said, mouth already falling open and tongue twisting to let the words spill. However he was cut off by the woman in front of him.
