Chapter 6: After Estrus

Luo Yaoshuang shook her head and said, "I'm making porridge. Your stomach hasn't had proper food for a few days, and I'm afraid it can't handle it, so I made some porridge to fill your stomach." 

"Porridge? Is it a new food?" Jiang Songchi was very curious. 

"No, it's an ancient food from ancient Earth. I'll go get some for you to taste." 

"By the way, did you change my clothes?" Jiang Songchi asked hesitantly. He didn't remember changing his clothes before he fell asleep. 

Luo Yaoshuang was stirring the thick meat porridge in the pot, but she didn't forget to answer his question, "0513 changed them." 

Upon hearing his name, 0513 appeared silently beside Jiang Songchi. 

Jiang Songchi squatted down and poked 0513's round head, saying, "It's the oldest batch of household robots in the empire. I didn't expect to see them here." 

A cute expression appeared on 0513's electronic screen. Obviously, he had a good impression of Jiang Songchi, and he didn't even mind him poking his head. Jiang Songchi was amused and laughed. 

"Come and taste it."  Luo Yaoshuang came to the living room with two small bowls. 

The small bowls were sprinkled with green onions, and the aroma of the porridge filled the air. Jiang Songchi felt his taste buds being stimulated. 

The entrance was the savory taste of minced meat, followed by the sweet and clear taste of rice. Jiang Songchi's eyes lit up, "It's delicious! Much better than the dishes in the club. How did you do it? The ingredients are so ordinary." 

Luo Yaoshuang smiled and replied, "It's simple. If there's a chance in the future, I can teach you." 

The simple meat porridge opened up Jiang Songchi's memories, and for some reason, his eyes suddenly turned red. 

"Why are you crying?" Luo Yaoshuang hurriedly pulled out a tissue and handed it to him, not knowing how to comfort him." Do you miss your family? It's all my fault for forgetting that your light brain is broken. Use mine to call home first!"

Jiang Songchi took the light brain and said softly, "Thank you," then unconsciously said, "I just remembered someone I met before. . . I can't remember their face, but I feel a strange resemblance to you."  After speaking, he went into the house to call his family. 

"Xiao Chi?! Are you okay?" When the familiar face appeared on the screen, Jiang's wife couldn't help but cry again. 

"Mom, I'm fine. Don't worry, I. . . will be back in a few days."  Jiang Songchi also said with red eyes. 

Jiang's grandfather comforted his wife on the side and then asked, "Xiao Chi, where are you now? Are you safe? What happened yesterday? How did you disappear like that?"

Jiang Songchi nodded, "I'm very safe. I came out of the club yesterday and was about to fly home when a group of betas stopped me. They sprayed me with an aphrodisiac, and my estrus period came early. Fortunately, someone saved me." 

"Aphrodisiac? That's a banned drug in the empire! I didn't expect such audacious people on the imperial star!" Jiang's grandfather keenly noticed the clues and couldn't help but start thinking. Jiang Er Ye was pondering, but was then driven out of the room by Er Fu Ren: "Think about how to solve this matter outside first, I'll chat with Xiao Chi about other things."  

Er Fu Ren looked at the unfamiliar environment on the screen and asked softly, "Was the one who saved you an Omega or a beta? Or. . . an alpha?" 

Jiang Songchi lowered his eyes and didn't say anything. Er Fu Ren understood the answer from his silence and pretended to comfort him calmly, "It's okay, he saved you, and our Jiang family will be grateful to him."
