"Pain may never let go"
Pain grips tight, with hands of steel,
Its touch is cold, its hold unreal,
Constricting lungs, crushing bones,
It chills the blood, and stills the moans. It grips the heart, and twists the soul,
Leaves scars that never can be whole,
It feeds on fear, and feeds on doubt,
And holds you down, in its icy clout. You try to rise, to break its grip,
But pain just laughs, with twisted lip,
It mocks your strength, it mocks your will,
And with its power, it seeks to kill.-soulpoet-
