AS THE RAIN TRICKLED DOWN THE WINDOW, Katherine sat upon the bay window inside of her bedroom. After a while, the large open space that was her wing got a little boring, she missed seeing her Kings, although she hated to admit it. She craved their attention and for their being, yet it was rare that she got it; Caius had not come near her at all, in her mind she believed he had chosen his wife over her, I mean, how could he not? Katherine felt unworthy of any love, she didn't feel that she should be cherished, after all, who would want a broken girl?

As the late January rain fell, she couldn't help but reminisce about her memories with them, before a harsh truth was revealed, a concealed secret; a lie. The memories were truly a magical belief.

Her dancing lesson with Aro, the gentle steps in the ballroom as she attempted to resist the trips she experienced, avoiding the strong wooden floor, she could hear the gingerly played notes that Corin had played upon the piano, the notes comforting her as she stared into the ruby red irises of one of her loves.

The soothing crackling of the fireplace as she sat in Marcus's arms upon the leather couch in the large library of the castle, his voice crept into her ear as he translated the English words printed upon the page into French, the way he attempted to imitate Elizabeth Bennet's voice, sending the woman in his arms into a spiral of soft giggles.

Her private art lesson with Caius as he threw sarcastic comments in every opportunity presented, all whilst aiding her into creating a beautiful landscape of the greenery of the Castle Gardens, his cheeky kisses on the cheek he snuck whenever he could, his gentle words when she doubted her ability all made her feel that she was worth something, anything.

Assaulting blasts of the rain hit the glass of the window furiously; as if aiming for something to take out their frustration on. Katherine sighed, she sat her piece of paper on a table beside her, smiling gently at the beginning sketches she had produced all by herself, the door swung on it's hinges as an unknown figure opened it, a brunette girl with a large cheshire grin painted upon her features popped her head out from behind it, Ruby Summers gave the girl a immense hug as she began to explain why she was here

'You've got a date with one of those three men, they sent me to help you get ready, that Heidi lady was busy out on a mission and I volunteered as soon as I finished eavesdropping!' She bubbled out excitedly, dragging the girl up onto her feet and guiding her towards the several doors leading off 'Your bedroom is so big, which door leads to your closet?' The American girl complimented as she asked the obvious question, to which Katherine led to way into the correct one, Ruby's face immediately lit up with pure shock and delight as she faced the mass amounts of clothing

Quickly, she began to sort through all of the dresses that weren't ballgowns, wanting her friend to be able to be in an outfit that helped show off her figure whilst still being fitting for the situation 'Ruby, did you catch which one was taking me out?' Katherine asked the girl who excitedly picked out several dresses, laying them out upon one of the several ottoman couches in the room
