The following day, [name] was abruptly awoken by a series of soft knocks resonating through her bedroom door. She groggily shifted under the warm covers, gradually regaining her senses. Still dressed in the attire she had worn the previous day, she sluggishly rose from the comfort of her bed and shuffled towards the door. With a yawn, she turned the doorknob and was met with an unexpected guest — a friendly blue Toad.

The Toad cleared his throat, assuming a poised and professional demeanor before addressing [name]. His voice carried an air of formality, "Good morning, [name]," he began, his tone exuding professionalism. "The Princess has kindly sent me to escort you to the dining room. She would like to dine with you this morning."

Still half-asleep, [name] rubbed her weary eyes and mustered a tired nod. "Alright then," she mumbled sleepily. "Lead the way, please."

The Toad inclined his head, indicating for [name] to follow him. He turned on his heel and started making his way down the lavishly adorned castle corridor, his brisk strides urging [name] to shake off the remnants of her drowsiness and catch up. As they traversed the hall, [name] couldn't help but feel a mix of anticipation and curiosity bubbling within her. What could Princess Peach possibly want to discuss with her over breakfast?

When they entered the dining room, the blue Toad gracefully bowed before excusing himself. Sitting around the table was Princess Peach and two unfamiliar humans that [name] didn't recognize. As [name] took in the scene, their eyes widened with surprise and curiosity at the sight of these new individuals. Princess Peach warmly welcomed [name], her face brightening up. "[name]! I'm delighted you could join us for breakfast," Peach exclaimed, her voice filled with joy. "There are some people I want you to meet!"

She gestured towards the shorter human with a beaming smile. "Allow me to introduce you to Mario," Peach said, her voice brimming with admiration. Turning her attention to the taller human sitting beside Mario, she continued, "And Luigi, Mario's younger brother!"

As [name] examined the two humans more closely, they couldn't help but notice their striking resemblance and the vibrant colors of their outfits. Mario sported blue overalls, a vibrant red shirt and a matching red. Luigi's attire mirrored his brother's, but his shirt and hat were a vibrant shade of green. It was clear that these brothers were a team, united by their distinctive fashion choices.

[name] curtsied gracefully, her voice quivering slightly. "It's a pleasure to meet you," she murmured. Mario responded with a warm, reassuring smile. "Relax, there's no need to be nervous!" he encouraged, gesturing for her to join them at the dining table. [name] took her seat next to Peach, her lips pressed together in a mixture of anticipation and apprehension.

"So, [name]," Mario began, his curiosity piqued. "How did you find yourself in the Mushroom Kingdom? Peach mentioned that you had never encountered another human before meeting her, so I know that you didn't come from our world." His demeanor remained friendly, but there was a hint of skepticism in his voice, indicating his doubts. The inquiry made [name] tense, but she mustered the courage to respond. "Well, Captain and I were traveling in a hot air balloon, but we ran out of fuel and crash-landed on one of the colossal mushrooms in the forest."

Luigi interjected with a compassionate tone, recalling the details shared by the Princess. "That's right! The Princess mentioned you took quite a hit! Is your head feeling any better?" Unlike his brother, Luigi's words conveyed genuine concern, he truly worried about her well-being. [name] shifted her gaze to the taller brother, appreciating his sincerity, and smiled warmly. As Luigi took another sip of his drink, she replied, "My head feels a lot better, thank you." Luigi, caught off guard by the sudden compliment, started choking on his drink.
