We always say: don't judge a book by its cover, yet books are one of those items that are most definitely judged by their cover, logline, blurb, hook, and first chapter.

Entries open on December 1 and close on December 31.
Judging will start on January 1 and will endat the beginning of February. This is to ensure our judges have enough time to read the entries. The exact timeline will be announced later.

0-15 points | Does the first chapter give a good introduction of the main character?
0-15 points | Is the dialogue engaging and does it sound natural?
0-10 points | Is the concept original?
