3| My Evil Twin

DAY 7
Prompt - Grey, destruction of evil energies

─── ･ ｡ﾟ⟡ 🌑 ⟡ ˚｡ ･ ───

Through the years;
Beaten and bashed at one such night, I lie on the floor,
Waiting that someone would open heaven's door,
Which will strengthen my existence, my entire core,
Wondering what would have gone wrong, because my soul is all white and pure till it's every tiny pore!

A silent scream I cry,
All the hopes gone awry,
Do I not shed tears every day, so why does my pillow still feel so dry?
It's as if I need to pour some more of it, to soar high and finally fly!

My heart is not at all fickle,
but it does get crippled with the world's sharpest prickles.
No matter how much I make an effort, they always try me to change, try me to bend with their ruthless and forceful wriggles!

I cannot be black-hearted like them,
I cannot choose darkness and evilness till my last mayhem.
Then what should I do?
Against them, what kind of tranquil potion should I brew?

I ask my heart and it says; stay as white as you are and you shall prevail for all good,
But my brain says; Pick the black, c'mon put on a hood, so that you would never brood!
I listen to both of them consciously,
Till I sleep curiously!

Right at midnight the hands of the clock struck ding,
I woke up suddenly like a hopeless thing.
An aura with an enchanting light surrounds my skin, like my evil twin,
Feels like I found my power from within!

To destroy the evil forces and energies that devour me all, neither I need to go with evil black nor pure white,
As the former will make me spite and the latter will be too polite!

I got the answer as I selected my evil twin, which is the colour in between,
The grey in me would take action now, for which my soul was too keen.
That would be the perfect balance for me, where no other black or white energy can
forever intervene!
