The clock was showing the time as 4 in the morning when Anika's sleep got broken, she held her head which was a little heavy and got in contact with something, when she managed to open her eyes she found Shivaay sleeping in the same position, she got up and found their hands clasped.

A: Why is he sleeping like this, he might get a strain in his neck, Shivaay?

She called him and he opened his eyes.

S:(worried) What's wrong? Is your head paining too much?

A: No I am fine, why are you sleeping like this, come to this side lay down

He stood up and walked to the other side of the bed and laid down. Anika too laid down, both were facing each other, she closed her eyes, while he kept looking at her, the face which use to be calm and full of life is pale. When Anika felt his gaze on her she opened her eyes. Stretching her hand towards him she asked
A: What happened?

He didn't say anything and pulled her close to him, she got into his embrace and kept her head in the crook of his neck and he wrapped her in his arms.

A: Is your neck hurting?

S: No

A: I am fine Shivaay
He made her look at him

S: That's the reason you are taking sleeping pills?

Anika was speechless, what answer she should give to his question, she parted from him and sat on the bed. Shivaay too got up and held her hand.

S: Dadi used to say that, worry is like a pyre, everything will be fine trust me

A:(saddened) How?

S:(looking in her eyes) You will do it, you will make everything fine

A:(sarcastically chuckles) Me? How can you say that? The one who is a failure, who is doing nothing but just crying from that day, who is just listening to the nonsense talks of her seniors and can't do anything to shut their mouth, who doesn't have the courage to face the reality
She chuckles again

A: Seriously Shivaay me?
She got up from the bed and goes out of the room. Shivaay just sighed, he followed her and saw that she was sitting on the balcony area floor. He went to her and sat beside her

S: Who said that you are a failure?
Anika looked at him

S: Who said you didn't faced the reality? If you didn't then you would have never accepted the fact that Meena is not with us today and what courage you are talking about you have the guts to stand in front of me when we meet after so long, you know I can rotate the world upside down but still you stood like a rock in front of me.

Shivaay took her face in his hand
S: You have taught me to be calm in the worst to worst situation then who comes you are losing your patience?

Anika was keenly listening to him
S: Kyu khud pe doubt kr rhi ho? You know your worth, you know how to handle the case, you have a genius brain then why are you are cribbing over a thing which you didn't do, tum har waqt har kisi ko nhi bacha skti, every thing is not under our control

A: Shivaay that girl was raped by Thappar's men

S: So have you wished this to happen? No right, I know this is such a brutal crime but now what you can do is, provide justice to the departed soul, to her family, to her mother, they have expectations from you, if you will lose your patience then how will you focus on the case which has become so personal to you
