Five months later
"Thanks Martin for moving all this stuff" nia said
"Well you ain't have nobody else to help you"
"My feet hurt so bad" she sighed plopping down nia had to move because she quit her job at the law firm and decided she wanted to chase her dreams
"I'm gone miss my penthouse" Mia pouted
"Now you in the trenches baby right by me" Martin smiled
"Yay" nia did a fake smile
"Don't do that okay let me give you the ropes the old ladies next door they are real nice just don't play your music too loud and you cool"
"Them dope boys across the street stay far far away from them I wouldn't but you know I live life on the edge" Martin nodded making her laugh
"And if you or my babies ever in danger don't worry everybody on the block look out for each other" he told her rubbing her pregnant belly
"Thank you Martin but I look so fat" she frowned
"You don't look fat I've seen plenty of women pregnant with twins and look way bigger" Martin laughed
"So you ever gone tell them" he asked
"No I don't think they would care x still making post about me and amari's in a happy relationship with his baby mother" she explained
"They even have another baby on the way" nia chuckled
"Well the baby don't got nothing to do with what you did but I can already see how that would play out I understand why you would wanna keep it to yourself" he nodded
"What you think they gone be" nia asked
"Hopefully two boys" Martin smiled
"Readers yall team boy or team girl" nia asked
"Bitch who the fuck you talking to" Martin asked looking around
"Anyways you talked to your mom" Martin asked because after everything played out when x and Amari got back home they went on a rant and told her mother everything she had done and now she wouldn't talk to her the only person she could count on was her dad
"Nope and I'm not how you gone hear some boys out before your own kid I don't know seems weird to me" nia rolled her eyes
"But you did everything they told her" Martin mumbled
"Okay that's not the point"
"Girl you got beef with everybody first stage then ya lil boy toys now yo momma who next"
"Not too much" nia mumbled looking down it was sad how she fell out with everybody and such a short time but hey people make mistakes and this happened to be a big mistake
"Awe it's okay pooh always remember your Martin bear a be here" Martin said pulling her into a hug
"Thank you for always being here with me even when I wasn't such a good friend to you at all" nia smiled at him
"You welcome girl I can remember plenty of times I was gone drop kick yo ass but I would never stop being your friend" Martin said making her smile
