She held back Rayne and told him that a man shouldnt raise his hand agaisnst a woman... except that doesnt apply to her and slapped them herself.

Placing my bag onto the kitchen table, I stretched, finally home after another cruel day of work

Its not that work is harsh, I just hated dealing with stupid people

Rayne is still not back home yet so I started preparing food

I was chopping the vegetables when I heard the door open

"I'm home." Announced my husband

"Welcome homee~ I'm in the kitchen." I announced my location since he always comes to me first after entering the house

I heard footsteps and then a shadow over me.

And finally, Rayne wrapped his arms around me waist and leaned all of his body forward to press against my back

"What are you making?" He mumbled

"I'm making your usual salad, I already made my portion." I was still chopping the vegetables. It was getting harder to finish cutting them with Rayne clinging onto me

"You dont need to make it. I can have something else for tonight." He whispered into my ear

"Really? What is-"

"You."

I dropped the kitchen knife. Covered my cheek with my hand. And had to cover my small blush. How much guts does this man have-

"You're not eating tonight."

"Why not? Its a meal I've always wanted." He chuckled softly

"So.. please? I've always wanted to do it with you." And he held you tighter

I was flustered now. My only options are yes or yes.

"E-Eat dinner first and then later.. we can do it."
