Formality over Priority

Sometimes..
being a formality..
is better than being a priority..
it doesn't hurt when they ignore u..
it doesn't hurt when..you're taken for granted..
everything feels numb
as nothing even matters,
neither to us, nor to them..
plus..it feels better this way..
cause..there is no way..
either of us will catch feelings
and we'll just mind our own businesses
for the rest of our lives..
