We drove for a couple of moments until we arrived in a lavish mansion not far from the suburbs. And what i think, baka ito ang bahay ng mga magulang ni Rhyze. It looks very ancient, baroque yet modernized in its structure. Maganda ang pinta sa mga pader nito, its grand designed roof catches the eye of this place.
Rhyze turned off the engine of his car at siya ang unang nailabas sa kotse. Sunod niyang binuksan ang pintuan. He then took my hand gently as i slowly went out of the car.
"Are you okay?" Mahinahon niyang tanong sa akin. Of course i was not goddamn okay! First time ko makikilala ang mga parents niya! "Y-yes, okay na okay," nautal na wika ko sa kanya.
"Don't worry, if you think that my parents wouldn't like you, they will like you. I promise. Paano ba naman na hindi nila magugustohan ang babaeng kasing-ganda mo?" Sunod niyang wika sa akin. "Sure ka ha? Baka mamaya palayasin ako pagpasok ko pa lang," pambibiro ko.
He let out a laugh before he caressed my cheek. "They won't," he said softly. He slowly opened the front door and inside the mansion, everything was grand and luxurious.
May staircase sila, and it really mesmerized me because of its grand design. May chandelier sa taas, which shaped the lights inside the bright interiors of the house.
May mga mamahaling vase sila, and on the walls were some family portraits of Rhyze's family. The other large portrait was some couple supposedly or i think in their mid-50's. Maybe this was his parents.
Ang ama ni Rhyze, may matangos na ilong, he had a strong jawline, pinkish white lips, perfect trimmed eyebrows, and a very soft skin tone. Ang ina naman niya ay tila parang diyosa na hindi tumatanda. She had that glow in her skin, she had cherry pinkish rose lips, her cute pert nose, extended eyelashes and perfectly trimmed eyebrows and a soft gentle skin, and her jawline was very perfect, as of a goddess' beauty to be exact.
Nang makarating kami sa living room, agad na bumilis ang tibok ng puso ko nang makita ko ang mga magulang niya. Holy shit! They even look more stern and strict sa personal! Oh my God, hindi ko kaya! Pero i'd take the risk, sabi nga naman ni Rhyze ay pinakilala na niya ako dito sa kanila.
I heard Rhyze slowly sighing before he glanced at them. "Mom, Dad. This is Annika, the woman i wanted to introduce to you both," sabi niya sa seryoso at baritonong tono. And it sounded so attractive and sexy. Huy, charot!
Ramdam ko ang kaba sa buong katawan ko. Nang madatnan kong nakatingin sa akin ang mga magulang niya, parang gusto ko nalang magpabaon sa lupa. The tension here is growing and i find it so nervously scary.
Narinig ko ang pagpalakpak ng kanyang ama. And to my surprise, he had a smile plastered on his face. Pati din ang kanyang ina. Wait, does this mean... Ligtas ako? I impressed them?
"She is very pretty, just like how you described her to us, son," rinig kong wika ng kanyang ama. "Napakaganda ng nobya mo, anak. I am sure that she is fit to be our daughter-in-law at siguro nga titigil ka na sa pambababae mo," pambibiro nito.
It didn't affect me at all. Alam ko na ang pambababae ni Rhyze noon pa bago pa kami magkakilala dahil naikwento ito ng mga kasambahay niya sa sariling bahay niya.
"Mom!" Rhyze frowned, before her mom chuckled. "I'm just saying the facts. At mabuti nga nakuntento ka na sa isang babae na maganda katulad niya," sunod na wika nito bago ako tinignan. Ay ako na to, Tita! Kering-keri ko to!
"Whatever, mom. Baka nga magkasundo kayo sa pambibiro niyo sa akin," sunod na wika ni Rhyze habang nakasimangot sa ina. Napatawa lang ang kanyang ama. "It's okay, son. Basta ang importante, mahalin mo ang babaeng ito and you wouldn't dare hurt her heart," sunod na wika nito sa mahinahon na paraan.
