The theme for our Flash Fiction Contest for August 2024 is 750-WORD SUDDEN FICTIONS ABOUT THE SUMMERTIME.
Submit your best 750-word sudden fiction featuring the summertime by:
1. Publishing your completed story on Wattpad and include the hashtag, #flashfictionfun.
2. Direct message the contest moderator (LauraBrowneLambert) saying that you are competing in "Flash Fiction Contest August 2024: Summertime Sudden Fiction" AND include the link to your submission, the name you would like to be credited under, and your pronouns.
Contest Timeline:
1. Submissions open August 1, 2024.
2. Submissions close August 23, 2024.
3. Winners announced August 30, 2024.
Prizes:
First, second, and third place winners will be featured on the Underground Bookshelf website and social media platforms with their name, pronouns, bio, photo, and story (with winner's permission).
