Chapter 2

{Jake}

It has been a day ever since that motorcycling accident. I was watching TV in the hospital room, until I suddenly got bored.

"I'm just gonna go to sleep," I yawned as I turned off the TV and laid down on the bed, trying to relax.

As soon as I got comfortable, someone opened the door.

"Jake."

I turned to the door to see Heeseung. "Oh, hey Heeseung. What's up?"

"Some friends want to visit you."

"Bring them in."

Heeseung just nodded and let them in. Turns out Beomgyu, Ni-ki, and Soobin came.

"Oh, hey-"

"JAKEY BOY," Beomgyu interrupted. He ran up to my bed and slammed his fist against the bedside table. "How dare you not tell the alpha about this? I would've fixed you up in less than an hour. You're my pookie!"

"Shut up Beomgyu, you're not the alpha." Soobin replied to Beomgyu, nudging his shoulder.

"Whatever Soobie."

"Damn, Jake. You bagged a baddie. Your doctor is hot as fuck." Ni-ki commented while smirking.

"I know right? I was surprised as well." I grinned teasingly. "Do you wish you had a doctor like him?"

"Yes! I would break my bones multiple times for him." Ni-ki dropped to his knees and started begging. "Please ask him for his phone number!"

"I'll try." I said, chuckling as Ni-ki was begging on his knees for Heeseung's phone number.

Soobin suddenly spoke up, "So, Jake. How's your leg so far? That motorcycle accident seemed pretty bad."

"It's okay, I guess," I replied before pausing. "I mean, it feels very numb."

"I see."

While Soobin and I were talking, Beomgyu and Ni-ki were laughing in the corner. I quickly snapped my head towards them to see what they were laughing about.

"What are you two laughing about?" Soobin asked.

"Nothing." Beomgyu said in response.

"Let me see." Soobin quickly snitched the phone away from them. Beomgyu pouted as he whined. Ni-ki just looked at Beomgyu, giving a nasty look.

"Who is this?" Soobin asked while pointing at the person in the picture.

"That's... someone talking to Jake's doctor." Beomgyu swooned. "He's so freaking cute!"

"Hey! Let me see!" I yelled as I sat up on the bed, obtaining Beomgyu's phone and looking at the person on the screen. "Oh, he is a bit cute."

"Call your doctor so Beomgyu can talk to him!" Ni-ki shouted at me from across the room.

"Fine, fine." I groaned as I pressed the button for assistance.

A few seconds later, Heeseung walked in. "Yes, Mr. Sim?"

"Hey Heeseung... Can you get your friend in here? My friend wants to talk to him."

"Oh, you mean Taehyun?"

"Yeah, him."

"Sure, just wait a sec." Heeseung said before quickly exiting the room.

"So, your doctor's name is Heeseung, huh?" Soobin asked, looking down at me.

"Yeah, it fits him well. He's so beautiful." I admitted while looking at him with admiration.

"Wow, Jake. You are down bad for this guy."

"Shut up."

A few minutes later, this so-called Taehyun person came in. Beomgyu noticed and immediately walked up to him with confidence.

"Hey, the name's Beomgyu. What's yours?" Beomgyu said as he leaned on the wall, trying to look as hot as possible.

"...My name's Taehyun." The boy answered.

"Taehyun... I like that name. It suits you well." Beomgyu smirked.

There was a bit of a red tint on his face. He quickly turned away as he spoke. "Thank you..."

"Can I get your number?"

"Oh, sure."

As Beomgyu was getting Taehyun's phone number, me and Soobin stared in shock. Ni-ki was just looking at them in disgust as he walked up to us.

"Well damn, I need to pay him 20 bucks now." Ni-ki pouted as he put his hands on his hips.

"What? Why?" I asked, looking up at him.

He sighed. "We made a bet and whoever the loser is pays the winner 20 bucks. I never knew he could get such a cutie like that."

"I know right..." Soobin chuckled to himself as he turned back to Beomgyu and Taehyun.

"Alright, thanks. I'll see you there tomorrow?" Beomgyu asked excitedly.

"Yep. I'll see you there tomorrow." Taehyun said as he waved and exited the room.

Beomgyu rushed up to us. "I got his number! Pay up, Ni-ki Riki."

Ni-ki groaned as he opened his wallet and gave 20 bucks to Beomgyu. Beomgyu smirked at him teasingly and laughed.

"Now, that's how you do it." Beomgyu teased.

I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."

I didn't really know what to do for this chapter but I had to add beomgyu, ni-ki, and soobin in one scene at one point

i also dont really like this chapter but the txt reference?!!?

i also wanted to point out that i want to timeskip cause aint no way im gonna do like 10+ chapters of jake in the freaking hospital 💀 but idk if i should
