02 • 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭

[ AMAYA ]

Damn, exams are finally over! I can rest now, as Christmas holidays will begin from tomorrow onwards, maybe i could continue my building designs? Yes! Finally.... Also parents will not be coming till a month i could kill my time with it, let's go upstairs and draw some sketches for now, maybe a hot chocolate will also do right let's grab my love of my life too. Then after getting everything I headed upstairs, to the terrace. Terrace is the best thing in this apartment, it got such a nice view where the greenery and tall buildings are visible and the air is almost fresh, it's peaceful here, sometimes i could have conversations with the flying birds as well, um not really talking but you know talking.

As I was peacefully drawing some sketches regarding my passion, someone came and started to curse while talking in call, ah god let me be in peace I said to myself as I waited for few seconds then I grabbed my earphones which i brought and plugged into it for some music to let myself calm down

I came upstairs to talk to nikith on call regarding things about that snake, visha. She's been sending me various gifts like whatever you can find, and it was stressing me out so much so to clear my mind I came to spend the whole month with my parents. This is December (2023), my favourite month where my favourite season blossoms with it's full spirit. Yes I love winter, especially winter nights, they are so beautiful and cool, just like me ahem.. self love.

As I was talking, cursing, because she's giving me nightmares. And i ended the call after a long brief satisfactory conversation, i turned back, and chill hit me but i embraced it by taking deep breaths, I closed my eyes then slowly opened my eyes

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH" i screamed my lungs out as i just saw a girl kneeling in front of me suddenly, i thought she was a ghost, that little girl flinched at my sudden scream and my mind processed making me embarrassed

"Oh shit, I'm... I'm really sorry, kiddo! I was just surprised to see you out of nowhere like Annabelle you know, i thought no one was here" i rambled on feeling embarrassed and guilty, that girl stood up straightly holding a piece of paper, oh i see the paper flew so she came to take it but I, being the idiot, screamed like I had labour pains, fuck this is so embarrassing godddddd

"It's okay, uncle" she said while looking at me with absolute "not interested" face, wait a minute,

"WHAT?" I again yelled, now I'm sure I grew up eating speakers...

"Uncle, why are you yelling again?? Did you saw Megan this time or what?" She said as she scrunched her nose, cute ah whatever she called me UNCLE!

"Hey! Stop calling me uncle, uncle, you kid" i breathed out, oh god why this humiliation to your favourite child?

"I'm just 24 for god's sake!" I said as i adjusted my outfit

"And I'm 17 soon to be 18, so if you stop calling me kid or kiddo, I'll stop calling you uncle, uncle" she phrased that uncle word again on purpose to raise my blood pressure, these kids

"Alright alright, anyways what are you doing here?" I asked her as I looked at her for an answer

"I live here" she said, for her age she's too cold because she's having no expression at all

"But the terrace isn't available for rent, right?" I said internally can't stop my laugh because of the joke I made then i observed her face she has this look that's saying you have embarassed yourself enough so why don't you just leave oh god, I'm making myself a clown infront of this little girl, I'm finding every humiliating meaning in her poker face which can't be described in words

"Alright, i should go now" I said as i started to walk towards the door

"Excuse me, you dropped this" the little girl called me from behind so I turned to her seeing her holding the bracelet, the bracelet which i matched with visha

"You can throw it away, I was going to destroy it anyways" I said as I moved forward to the stairwell that little girl just nodded her head, she's kind of interesting to be honest

What just happened...? As soon as he left, i collided unto the floor, my heart is racing so fast I feel like, my blood is rushing so much that I'll be looking like a red tomato! I just, i just met HIM! The man whom i fell for even without meeting him....

Past [ 2 years back ]

Currently I'm in my room, headphones over my head listening to music, oh my, it's so peaceful. Mom and dad went away for work and my board exams are finished, just yesterday! Now all the fun begins, all those restless days, sleepless nights, breathless moments are finally over! Now movies, web series, music, food and enjoyment are waiting for me! As I was making plans for my enjoying days, the door bell rang, i got up and went to open the door.

As soon as I opened the door, I crashed with a panda in my embrace, i hissed but I eventually wrapped my arms around her

"WE ARE NOW FREEBIRDS!" Ayla shouted with happiness as she left my embrace and looked at me grinning like that creepy ghost named momo, Ayla is best friend I met her in 8th grade, I don't have many friends just a decent amount you can say like 4-5 friends? Above all Ayla is my best friend whom I share with everything she's the sunshine type which is opposite of me but she's more mature than she seems, she's the only one whom i feel comfortable with.

"Yeah yeah!!!!!" I said as I danced on my own with my creepy steps with happiness, she also joined me. The days went away like that, we binge watched her favourite actor's movies and web series, I was annoyed at first but as soon as I saw his screenplay with his looks, I took back my words of I'm not going to watch his films solely because he was so handsome! He has honey dripped skin which shines like diamond when the rays of sunshine fell upon it, he has brown eyes, the eyes which reminds me of my favourite hot chocolate, he has a great physic too! His biceps are hella strong from the looks of it of course, and I bet, he works out often too because there was this scene in one of his films where he ripps of his shirt, damn he fucking has six pack, well I can say his body is too tempting ahem and not to mention he's just 22! Young too, perfect age gap for me obviously. His voice is deep as pacific ocean, which sends shivers to one's spine if he come closer to our ear and whisper words... Not to mention, he has dimples which just looks like some angel came and poked his cheeks because they were squishy but he had sharper jawline which would slice my soul into half if I came in contact with him... And the bonus thing is that he's a gentleman and HE IS 6'2!! FREAKING A TALL POLE BUT HOT ONE.. but the disadvantage is that he has a girlfriend, she's also an actor but is less known, she's beautiful as hell that's all I could say but we can't judge a book by it's cover right? As i was rambling inside myself, my parents shouted at me out of nowhere...

"Dad! What happened? You guys were checking my results, what happened?" I slightly shouted for them to hear because they were in my room to check my 10th results and I was in the hall because I was too scared to check them
