Kaelyns POV

'I don't wanna leave you P.' I say turning to my older sister Paige. I played for UConn during my freshman year but I decided to enter the transfer portal and I'm going to Iowa. 'I know kae. I don't want you to go either but you have to do what's best for you.' Paige says looking at me and sighing. I've gone these past 18 years with Paige. I don't know how I'm going to be states away from her.

Paiges POV

I turn toward my little sister Katelyn and I feel nothing but sadness. She's been my sister, best friend, and roommate for 18 years and now she's going away. I love her so much. I know she can survive by herself though.

*Time jump to when Kaelyn gets to Iowa*
Kaelyns POV

I walk into my new dorm. I'm sharing it with one of my new teammates, Caitlin Clark. She actually drove me from the airport to our dorm. She has been really nice to me. I got settled in and now I'm walking into my first practice. I talked to my new couch and she was nice to me

I introduce myself to the whole team but a specific 6' blonde guard catches my eye. I know her name is Kate but I haven't really talked to her.

Not gonna lie I freeze up around pretty girls.

To my surprise, she walks up to me.

Kates POV

There's a new sophomore from UConn so I decided to say hi. She's really pretty. I know she's Paige Bueckers sister. I also know she's a really good player for being 5'6. 'Sup? I'm Kate' I say with an awkward ass smile. God why did I smile like that I probably look like an idiot right now. 'Hi, Kate. I'm Katelyn but most of my friends just call me k.' I barely hear what she says because I'm too busy staring at her beautiful eyes. I need to stop she probably thinks I'm being creepy.

Kaelyns POV

I haven't talked a lot much to the team besides Kate and Caitlin but I can tell that just by those two. I'm gonna like it a lot.
