Everyone was asking me the same question
"Did you see the interveiw?"
of course they were talking about the interview where paige bueckers said ivwas her celebrity crush
but nothing would ever happen because I go to LSU and she goes to Uconn
or so I thought
Yn my coach yelled
"since March madness is coming up they wanted us to do a team crossover interveiw with Uconn to promote it, are you in?"
"sure,that sounds cool" I said assuming it would be with like kk or azzi
"just stay after practice and go to the media room" he said
after practice ended I started walking to the media room
when I walked in my heart dropped
it was paige
"hey y/n" my stylist said knocking me out of my trance.
"hey misty" I said
we both got our makeup done and then got in our seats to start the interview.
"so girls,why are you exited for March madness?"
paige answered first
"um, I think it's a good opportunity to show all the hard work that you have done throughout the season and prove that your number one"
she then turned to me and asked
" what about you y/n what do you think" she asked me with sharp eye contact
"I'm exited because you give it your all and it's just one if the most fun things you can do in your collegiate basketball career" I said
"alright next question is what do you guys think about each other as players" the interviewer asked
paige answered first again
"y/n is a great player and I really wish I could get up in the paint like she does"
"honestly with paige I think she really good because of the way she is a very versatile player like she can play defense and offense both really good" I said
" and my last question is describe March madness in one word"
I answers first this time
"electrifying"
"adrenaline " she Said
after the interveiw stopped paige pulled me to the side and asked me if I wanted to come back to her hotel and watch movies
"yeah" I said
we got in her car and after about a 10 minute drive we got there
" do you want some Tru fru" she asked
" um sure thanks" I Saud
we watched 13 going on 30 and ate our Tru fru
then we started getting tired
" I think I'm gonna lay down I said"
"ok"
I just decided to spend the night at that
point
she got in bed about 30 minutes after me I wanted to cuddle so bad but didn't want to make her uncomfortable
after about ten minutes of contemplating I heard paige say
" you can lay on me"
we cuddled for the whole night
