I waited for you for 9 months 17 days
All I got was staring contest with walls Conversations with the lonely night sky
Sobs of endless pain all 'cross the hallsGot a tattoo of your name which stayed
It grazed your face with invisible strings
Seasons got changed like kaleidoscopes
I kept gettin' tangled with passing breezeSo I pour it out with black ink and paper
I wrote every scream the demon let out
Every cut he made and bone he crushed
Every nerve he left bleeding in droughtI don't know if you would love me again
If you would hold me, pulling me down
I can't resist this love calling me to you
Takes me to you every street and town—————————————
