She was proud.
She was vain.
She used to feel pretty,
now she only feels pain.

She is all alone,
abandoned by her prince.
He left Asteroid B-612
and she missed him ever since.

She knows she was wrong,
she regrets her lies.
Just wishing he'd come back
while she quietly cries.

She thought she was fierce
with her four little thorns.
She can't defend herself
so for her prince she mourns.

The Little Prince misjudged her.
Her words were all he cared.
He was to young to know how to love her and
enjoy the beauty she shared.

She hopes one day her prince
won't use ears but the nose
to forever love
his beautiful rose.
