Part 9: Road Trip...

"I hope you guys have plenty of fun there" My mother says as she helps me pick out the clothes I need for the trip,

"Can you get me some toys from there?" Johnny asks folding one of my shirts as I laugh and kiss his forehead,

"Of course John John" I say as he hands me the nicely folded shirt which was pretty neat for a 9 year old,

"I just dont get how we barely moved in with this guy and already he wants to take you from us" Jason says leaning against the wall while watching me with a clenched jaw,

"Of course he would, he is her mate. If you hadnt messed around with all the female wolves in our village you would know how it feels like to have a mate" My mother says with a perked eyebrow as I chuckled,

"Whatever, I dont trust this dude. And if I were you, I'd keep an eye out on him as well" he says nodding at me before walking out,

"Anyways, I just want you to remember to bring me some of the pasteries they have over there. I've always wanted to try out pasteries from France" She says with a smile as I nod,

"Ready?" I heard Joshua say from the door while I zip my suitcase with a smile,

"Kadens waiting downstairs" he says gesturing us to follow him as my mother helps me carry my stuff,

I walked downstairs as Joshua walked out to the front of the castle. I followed him seeing Kaden standing beside a large carriage connected to 2 beautiful black and white horses.

"Put her bags in the carriage" Kaden says to Joshua with a stern look as he quickly grabs my things,

"Hope you two have fun, and be safe" My mother says hugging me and Kaden as I giggle,

"Bye bellie" John says hugging my leg as I pick him up and kiss his cheek,

"Bye beautiful" My dad says as my mom takes John and lets my dad pull me into one of his very tight bear hugs,

"Remember if you need me to beat this kid up Im just a call away. Oh! And make sure to have fun" he says after mom steps on his foot with a glare for the first thing he said,

"But not too much fun" he adds on while squinting at Kaden who was staring at me intensely,

"Where is that idiot brother of yours?" he asks looking around as I laugh,

"Calm your canines, Im right here" Jason says walking out of the castle as my dad rolls his eyes,

"I never thought I'd say this" he states dramatically standing in front of me with a sigh,

"Goodbye" he comments with a frown before turning around as I look at him confused,

"Im playing" he says turning back around and lifting me up with a hug as I laugh,

"You better not stay over there long or I swear I'll go over there and drag you back here" he says putting me down as I giggle,

"I love you okay, and if he hurts you in anyway. Just mindlink me" he says kissing my forehead as I smile,

"Come on princess" Kaden says as I smile at my family before turning to see Kaden waiting for me by the large carriage,

"Keep in touch!" My mother shouts as I waved out of the window towards her while the carriage began to move us out of the gates of the castle with some of the castle guards riding around the carriage on their horses,

I sat back in my seat with a smile while watching the place I called home flash past me. I was so focused on the breeze of the wind hitting my face joyously I didnt see Kaden slip his hand into mine. I shrugged it off with a smile as he smiled at me.

"We're going to be on the road for a while now so might as well get to know one another" Kaden mentions during our carriage ride as I nod,

"Tell me some stuff about you my little mate" he says enlacing our fingers together as I blush,

"Like what?" I ask feeling my cheeks heat up,

"Mainly everything about you" he shrugs with a wink as I chuckle,

"Well, Im 17. I have a small family that grew up in quite a tight place. I was born in the small village your castle rules, and grew up there ever since. I like to read or hangout with the children of the pack on my spare time. My favorite color is pur-" before I finished he cut me off,

"How many males have you dated?" he asks as my eyes widened,

"what?" I ask as he clenched his jaw,

"How many males have you dated?" he asks again as I shrugged,

"I never counte-" he cut me off with a low growl as I flinched back,

"Are you a virgin?" he asks turning to me with his eyes turning dark as I gulped and nodded nervously,

"Good" he says as I felt the grip of his hands loosen around mine,

"I wouldnt be able to calm my wolf down if there was another guy that took away something special of yours" he continues with a clenched jaw,

"I was hoping to spend my first time with my mate ever since I heard every wolf had a mate" he says kissing my knuckles as my eyes widened,

"Wait?......Your one too?" I asked surprised as he chuckles,

"Well, I looked for you all my life. Without having you by my side made a small ball of anger inside me grow bigger and bigger every day" he sighs as I see his eyes turning darker,

"People told me I was never going to find a mate because of my temper and my non social life" he explains with a frown as I rub his hand gently,

"You shouldnt live your life off of what people think, your life is yours not theirs" I say looking up at him as he turns to me with a smile,

"I wouldnt have a life if you weren't in it......so I guess this is our life" he replies with a grin as I giggle,

This is going to be a great road trip.......
