A day I'll never forget was when I found out Louis, now 25, and his wife Serene had welcomed their beautiful baby girl into the world.
Neveah Anne Daddario was born weighing a perfect 6lbs 10, on October 3rd 2040.
Then, three months later, when Elijah Nathan Daddario-James was born; 7lbs 2, on January 4th 2041 came another day that I'll never forget because then Evangeline Catherine Daddario-James and Steven Tobias Daddario-James; too became parents.
Our first two grandchildren; could it get any better than that? Me and Matthew were now 48 and 52 and were absolutely thrilled with how our lives had played out; we had two beautiful grandchildren!
Matt was so overwhelmed with happiness when he got to first hold them together he cried his eyes out, before taking what must of been a thousand photos.
Photo after beautiful photo of the children with their own children. Of us with our children and the beautiful babies. So many unforgettable memories that we now have hung all over the walls of our homes.
He began photo albums, documenting the months as they grew, pride bubbling out of him whenever Louis and Evangeline came to visit, meaning his camera was once again out snapping away.
Much like now, I realised as my phone dinged and I saw the notification.
