On January 9, 1992, Holly Anderson was last seen when she dropped by a liquor store in Danville, Indiana where her boyfriend worked. It was a cold Indiana winter day with the temp hovering between 28 and 40 degrees. Later she was expected to return and pickup her boyfriend that night at midnight from work. She never returned to the store.

It was later discovered that her body had been dumped on a rural road in Perrysville, Indiana. She had been stabbed multiple times. Further examination showed the wounds were both in the chest and abdomen. The map below shows Perrysville's location in relation to Danville.

Days after Holly's remains were discovered her car was located behind a church. Almost two months later, Holly's wallet was located.

Three days before Holly's body was found an unidentified body was found in manner similar to what Holly's remains were later found in. Police originally looked at these two cases as if they were linked. In 1993, officers gave statements that they were looking for a serial killer. The Vermilion County Sheriff was told they had to catch the man before he killed again.

The main reason the a link was created between the two cases was due to the locations at which the bodies were found.

State Police both in Illinois and Indiana have put hours into the investigation, but no arrest have been made. According to an interview by State Police Officer Sager in 2007, the case had suspects but those suspects' names would not be released. Sager also stated that cold cases in Indiana can remain open forever because there is no statute of limitation on murder. Documents from open cases are not released the public in the state of Indiana.

In the same 2007, article Holly's mother heart-breakingly shared what it had been like to live without her daughter for 15 years. She dreaded leaving work and having to deal with the loss of her daughter. She just wanted closure and to know that there were consequences for whoever committed such a horrid act.

Many individuals believe that Holly Anderson's case is tied to the cases of Jessica Roach and Tricia Reitler. In all three cases, there is a large amount of speculation that Larry Hall, who was convicted of kidnapping in 1995, is responsible. At one point in time, he had admitted to being responsible for 15 murders, but later recanted his confession. He is serving a life sentence without the opportunity for parole. There is a federal statute that dictates that if a kidnapping ends in death this sentence is mandatory.

Hall's involvement in the case is solely the speculation of internet-detectives and authors. Hall has many times claimed to have kidnapped upwards of 20 women before being detained in 1994. Hall's victim was strangled and notes in his domicile indicated that this was his typical means of murder. Meanwhile, Holly was stabbed. This creates a doubt that Hall was responsible for her death.

Anyone with information regarding Holly Anderson's case is asked to contact the Indiana State Police.

____________________Author's Note_______________________

While I have tried to keep internet-detective speculation out of these case write-ups, I have recently stumbled upon some theories that I have found to be well thought out. If a theory is included in write ups in this work, it will be noted as such. An example is that of the Larry Hall theory included in this chapter.

Thank you for reading and voting. I am pleasantly surprised to have received such a response to this work.
