THE DISAPPEARANCE OF the Washington twins had hit Ellie close to home. She hadn't been able to even fathom the idea that she'd ever lose anyone close to her until she reaches the point of old age, especially not because of some stupid, half-baked prank.
Exactly a year after the disappearance of the two teenagers, Ellie hesitantly returns to Blackwood Mountain, as per request of Josh Washington. She had thought that it could help her finally overcome the guilt which had utterly consumed her, as well as allowing her to make amends with those she had once considered her friends.
When the night takes a turn for the worst, her mind is no longer focused on building relationships. Instead, she now has to find a way to survive until dawn.
