~~~ To give you some idea of what this story contains:
It is set in an alternate world with a Steampunkish vibe. All of the languages, customs, countries, and societies are original, and not meant to represent anything in reality. There are also fight scenes and action, espionage, a slow-burn enemies-to-lovers romance, and... pirates. *Clears throat* I couldn't help myself.
I feel I should also say that the "mature" rating is not because of sexual content or swearing. This is a clean read, with the exception of a few 'damns'. There is war violence, though, and heavier themes like grief and loss, human trafficking, and physical assault, so I wouldn't recommend it for a younger audience. Thus the Mature flag.
